Went to exhibition at the The Building Centre about the sophisticated underground infrastructure of London. Very interesting about the amount of different layers that exist to form above and below. The exhibitions models made these complicated layers easy to interpret using simple shapes and colour. Also in the foyer there is a massive model of central London. Spent most my time here. It showed recent proposals in London including the Olympicdevelopments in Stratford. http://www.buildingcentre.co.uk/
Went to PlayStationskate park near Portobello Road with Tom and Matt (both landscape students-check there blogs for size below) who can skateboard. I cant skateboard but took some photos for an animation possibly. Been getting into animation recently but cant get the owns I have made on blogger yet. I will ask someone soon. PlayStation was a nice space. light floods through the open sides and still feels enclosed with the flyover directly above it. http://landscapeisroberts.blogspot.com/ T http://landscapeisellins.blogspot.com/ M
