Visited Kinnear Landscape Architects http://www.kland.co.uk/ office just off Hackney Road in Shoreditch. It was a sunday so no one was around, but got to see their cartoony post modern offices and flats above designed by FAT http://fashionarchitecturetaste.com/

(below Canonbury School, London) This project is a playground situated next to the busy, urban Highbury roundabout. The pratice noticed that this proposal could be one thats not only enjoyed with in school grounds but also in the wider area. The project was designed in collaboration with the lighting artist Ron Haseldon. Lighting grids on the ground create flexible play areas fo the children. Using pressure pads and computors the children can change the lighting systems to create grids for small football pitchs or just general lighting around the school grounds. Also the grounds surface is manipulated for climbing based on the idea of hills, valleys and mountains.
